Can you continue an activity if you miss that it set off an incident report?
Saw family at 26.13 miles of my virtual London marathon and my excitement set off my incident report and contacted my emergency contacts which happened to be the person I had just flung my arms around and I didn't notice so it actually stopped my run 0.07 short of a marathon so I have nothing recorded on my personal achievements for a marathon, my first and possibly only one!!!!
Totally gutted :-( is there anything that I could have done or if you miss the count down it gives you or is that it?
GARMIN if you read this, this is a major flaw. I was not the only one this happened to in our group of just 4 runners so I'm sure there are considerably more that have experienced this.
I would like to suggest that maybe the countdown is longer, the vibration stronger and maybe an audible alarm and more importantly it doesn't stop tracking! What happens if I'd been bundled in the back of a car, what on earth use would my last location be good for then! It should continue tracking until it's actually stopped or I'm rescued!!!! Please look in to this, as a safety feature it's falling short!
Thank you, and if there's anything I can do to show my record I'd appreciate it.
