It would be great to either be able to save Wi-fi passwords on the device, allowing the ability to switch Wi-fi on or off without the need to forget network and then reconnect and re-enter Wi-fi password….. or better still, a toggle switch for Wi-fi on/off. Having Wi-fi constantly on kills battery life enormously. Battery drains 50%+ in a day with Wi-fi always on.
It's not like Bluetooth that's always searching when turned on. It only turns on WiFi when needed. Did you read the link I posted from Garmin Support? It clearly states it's not connected/searching…
Exactly, wifi is for heavy lifting data transfer and will only be used when necessary.
A reboot will often solve issues, especially if something odd starts to happen after a FW update.
That's about what mine does too if I turn on Pulse Ox. I'll add the WiFi network back after the next software update. It doesn't work on 4.67 anyway.
