VO2Max - Automatic calculations

Before 4.67, after walking/running for more than 15 minutes my VO2Max was calculated and displayed at the end of the workout.  This no longer happens and the only way to update VO2Max is to force the watch to do this.  Anyone else noticed that the automatic calculations have stopped even on 5.18?

  • Not a problem with mine. VO2Max calculated in the end of a long walk.

  • Thanks, must be walking slower than I used to,  found the info below, will go for a good walk tonight and see if I can get my heart rate up!!!

    • Walking Activity must be 10 minutes or longer in length
      • vivosport requires up to 15 minutes in length
    • The activity must be recorded outdoors with a GPS signal
    • Heart rate data from either a built-in optical heart rate syensor or from a chest strap
    • Heart rate must be elevated to at least 70% of your maximum heart rate for at least 10 minutes continuously
      • vivosport requires up to 15 minutes continuously
  • Any suggestions how to get Vo2Max working. Support have been useless, first of all got told I was running old firmware despite using 5.18 Beta.  Sent over some workouts to be told they don't meet the criteria to calculate Vo2Max despite 2 of the workouts being attempts to update it via the watch!! the last workout was over 15 minutes keeping my hr above 70% for at least 15 minutes to be sure I got over that 10 minute mark. So went out again today and done another workout meeting the criteria above and still no update.  My watch has stopped calculating since 30th August, pretty much every walk before that calculated and can be seen tracking in Connect!
