battery problems with update 4.67

Hello everyone and sorry for the perhaps incorrect English ...
I updated a few days ago to the latest firmware of my Venu2s and I noticed a sharp drop in autonomy in daily use, especially during night rest.
My settings are:
AOD off
PulseOX only at night
Bluetooth turned on on Venu
Wifi turned off
Motion notifications on
Cardio always ON
Medium vibration
Automatic brightness on minimum level

I make moderate use of the watch that with the previous firmware took me to an autonomy of 7 days with these settings. Now I make almost 4 ...
Will I have to get used to it?
I noticed a big improvement in the fluidity of the touch, maybe this is the aspect that concerns the greater decrease of the battery?

  • I didn't notice differences after the update.

I have aod with live heart rate and i'm doing a workout evey day most of the time(sometime it's HIIT and sometime a run of 25/40 minutes) and i'm around 60-50% of battery after 24hours.

In the last 24 hours i did 4 hours of cycling with gps active and 1hour and half workout without GPS and i'm at 55%.

Spo2 measurment is off also during night.

Sleeping interval is between 10pm and 5am(7hours without aod).

I'm not someone that likes to watch the data on the watch and considering that i have all the informations that i want on my aod i rarely activate the screen.

  • The only difference I've noticed is the SPO2 during the night.

Would you share the watchface that is currently on your device? I assume is one of the stock watch faces.

I do perform activities on a daily basis but almost none with active GPS, which should make me experience a better battery life that compared to your usage.

  • It's this one...i had, at the beginning, the version with color on minutes but i prefer it with a uniform white.
Didn't see any increase in the battery after i switched to the current one.

I have notifications enabled but not many as i don't need to see everything on my watch...just some important things.
Except for them, the "movement alert" and some random activations, it's staying like this for the majority of the day.

During activities(be it a hiit or a run or whatever) the screen is always on low energy consumption with the "raise on" activated.

  • Thank you.
WIll give it a go and see if any improvements are noticed on the battery life.

  • that dial is not present by default, it must be created directly from the clock. I have this too and it is the dial that saves so much energy.

  • Yes, ok. You need to change the colour from the watch but the layout is present as default and it's not downloadable from Connect IQ.

  • You are right, there is a version already by default. ;)
