You are right. It's for ANT+ only, not Bluetooth at the moment. I think that decision was made to conserve battery life.

Maybe garmin could make an option with just a battery usage warning like most of the options on the watch.

Conserve battery seems like a poor excuse when some of their other watches has it and most of the industry.

This is a 400€ watch, even my 30€ xiaomi band3 use Bluetooth without much trouble and that had a good 14days of power

Seems to be working now. I enabled "broadcast during activity" and started a treadmill run. Opened Zwift on my Android phone and it recognized both heart rate, speed and cadence over bluetooth.
