AMAZON MUSIC Playlist- unable to view the list...can only view the current song in the player.

I am new to smartwatches.  I am hoping a more experienced person can please offer me a solution on an issue I am having using Amazon Music on my Venu 2. On the device I can see the playlist I created in my Amazon Music account ("Top 50 Running Tunes.")  I synced it over WiFi and all the songs are there in order. I can listen offline from the device via Bluetooth headphones- but only from within the Amazon ecosystem.

Here is the issue- I can find no way to view the list of individual songs (in the playlist.)  So if for example, I feel like listening to song #30 out of 50, in 2021, do I really have to hit "Next >|" 30 times to get to it- then 30 times back to navigate my playlist?   Am I missing something?  Is this a Garmin Software issue- or an Amazon Music issue?  Is the integration still new- will a future software update address this or is it intentional?  It doesn't seem unreasonable to want to view/scroll all the songs in each playLIST.  They could not have simply overlooked this basic feature.

The only possible workaround I can think of could be to "buy" each individual Amazon song- download to my PC as an unlocked MP3 file.  I could then get into WMPlayer where I could re-create an identical playlist.  I could then sync that with the Venu 2 from within WMP.  The Venu 2 needs to be connect directly to the PC via USB (with Amazon Music, it syncs via WiFi.) It just seems like a lot of unnecessary, redundant work.

Thanks!

  • It is the same for me with a Spotify playlist, that is downloaded to the watch. It is not possible to select single songs on the watch....

    Disappointed

  • Thanks BWA2.  This is disappointing.  I can buy a $20 MP3 player that shows me my song list. When we pay nearly $400 there is no reason we should be able to see our list.  I guess they want you to purchase the song.  When you do this, you can save to Windows Media Player as an MP3.  You can then sync that list to My Music folder on the Venu 2.  When you do this, you can see the title.  It's a work around but should not be necessary.
