I wasn't allowed to calibrate my treadmill miles to my watch. I tried a few times. I always put in the correct miles when finished. Now, it's not allowing me to go over what the watch has. Venu 2s.

Hello 4154752. Please see the FAQ below:
How Does the Treadmill Calibration Feature Work on My Garmin Watch?
The 2nd paragraph mentions the high and low thresholds for calibration. Getting regular GPS runs recorded and having a normal arm swing will allow the accelerometer (which measures the arm swing for Treadmill distance/pace) to be more accurate so you will not have to calibrate so large/small of a number.
It is still incorrect. Based on the information you told me to read:
The calibration value input cannot be less than half or more than double the distance recorded on the watch (ex: If the watch records 1.0 miles, the calibration value input must be between 0.50 and 2.0 miles).
The watch thought I was at 1.54 and I did 1.96. I changed it via app, but can you explain why I couldn't change it on the watch?
Interesting. How many treadmill activities have done this? What kind of troubleshooting have you tried (i.e updating software, hard resetting the watch, etc.)?
I did look for software updates, but I am not sure what it did when I selected that. I believe it turned blue for a while and then stopped and went back the normal menu. I am pretty new with this watch, like 3 weeks new. This was the first time I have had an issue, as I normally am pretty close to my tread. I have had a few runs where I needed to calibrate, but when I go to calibrate, it says saved, so I have to use the app to change the distance. I normally need to change the watch to a lower number, but in this case it was higher. Just confusing I guess. Thanks
