Venu 2s - Pool Swim workout not syncing?

I have created a custom pool swim workout in my Garmin Connect. I tried to send it to my device, but a pop up appears saying that my device is not compatible. I find it weird if I cannot create a custom pool workout and sync it to my watch like I do with running workouts. Any ideas? Is this just a compatibility issue?

    could you please show us where this information is stated? 
    Several of your customers are feeling scammed as this is not stated anywhere and it looks more a company decision that a watch limitation.

    Where one can find the list of custom workout allowed by Garmin? 

    Said so I am extremely disappointed with my Garmin experience given the lack of clarity in the watch functionality and poor customer support. I will move to a different brand when I will replace my watch this spring
