Complaining about it here and trashing the software doesn't do any good.
I've found the Garmin support folks to be very responsive and accommodating (especially if you are friendly & cooperative) regarding perceived defects.
As a professional software developer, I can tell you that no software is perfect.
As a former architect of an enterprise level software package, I can tell you that good input from users is absolutely essential. Screaming & yelling about a defect doesn't help, but good descriptions of the context of a problem, and cooperating in collecting diagnostics, is absolutely crucial.
