Skin Irritation Under Watch Face?

I took off my Venu 2S this morning to charge, and noticed an area of irritated skin under where the watch (not the band) would be. It almost looks like a burn, but I don't feel any irritation. I've been wearing smart watches for years and haven't seen this before. Anyone else experiencing this?

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are reporting. The skin irritation may be a result of build-up on the watch band and/or casing. You should discontinue wearing your watch until your skin has healed.
