Venu2 Battery Saver Mode turns off AOD but won't turn on again!!!

I have my Venu 2 for a few days and wanted to try the battery saver mode. After powering on, the OAD that was expected is turned on. However, when battery saver mode is turned off, the AOD does not turn on even when I manually run it in the system settings. I had to reset my device to enable the AOD. Why is Garmin not able to deliver a proper product and is always buggy?

Works fine for me.

I turned on AOD, then activated power save mode. Display was changed to basic mode.

I then turned power save mode off and the watch reverted to the original watch face and AOD was active.

Oddly enough, last night (well after I changed the settings above), my V2's battery dropped from 70% to 12%.

I've opened a ticket with Garmin.
