New user with a Garmin Venu 2. Having sync issues. Saying “sync failed file transfer, error not ready” using IOS

As above. Ive tried turning it off and back on. Its brand new out of the box. I noticed some things aren’t installing either. I tried getting a new watch face and that’s sitting in a que going nowhere. It’s just this sync error I can’t figure out. “Not ready”

I had that too in the beginning. I plugged it into the PC and updated everything with Garmin Express. After that it was all good.

Are you at the current firmware version?

I seem to recall a similar error when I first got my V2 before I updated the firmware.

I’m having the same problem but only have a Chromebook and it says it’s not compatible with Chromebooks. Any suggestions? It’s not counting my steps correctly now too.
