Venu 2 worn on inside of wrist

Good day Garmin family;

I was wondering if there a setting or configuration that is suitable for wearing the Venu 2 on the inside of the wrist?

Traditionally I have worn my watches on the inside of my wrist. I have gone this route with my new purchase. Almost immediately it was clear this was not what was intended as the watch would turn on when I rotated my arm out.

It also seems inconsistent when switching between left and right arms. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

  • I think the only thing that would work for with this watch is to use the always-on display. That way it doesn't have to turn on for you to see it. I don't know how accurate the sensors will be on the inside of your wrist either.

  • Thank you for the response, and the related links.

    I just double tap. Battery life trumps always on.

    If anybody knows more about orientation and sensors, that would be super helpful.

  • Hah! I just realized you don't need always-on with the display facing your body. No one will see it anyway. Grin For me, I wouldn't wear a smartwatch without always-on. I prefer it looks like a watch.
