Where did the four data fields go on my Venu 2 watch face?

I recently bought a Venu 2S and, after a software update, I was able to create a watch face that allowed four data fields. I returned the 2S and got the bigger Venu 2 but I don’t have the option for four data fields; only two, even after updating the software. What gives?

Hello! You will need to click on one of those screens you see then edit the field!

Hi. That didn't work. I even tried resetting the device and that didn't solve the problem either. Could it be a defective unit?

Yeah, the solution was to curse at the gods for seven months about all of Garmin's software issues up until recently, then buy a Garmin Epix (2nd gen) instead , and finally to read with great interest DCrainmaker's May 24th blog post on Garmin's new Beta software program.
