I have a Tacx Neo 2T on which I do virtual bike rides. I use a Polar chest strap HRM because I think it's more accurate than my Venu 2. This morning I did a virtual bike ride of 90 minutes and the difference between the two was huge: where my Polar at times was giving me a HR of 160 (I was in a long ascent, which seems to be correct), the Venu 2 gave me 69. During the rest of the ride, the Venu 2 never gave me a higher heart rate than 89, whereas my Polar gave an average of 150, which I find more accurate.
When I finished I imported the ride data into Garmin (I use Rouvy, which is not linked to my Garmin account). While my Garmin Connect tells me it has adopted the calories I burned during my ride (recorded by Rouvy and imported into Garmin), it took the heart rate data from my Venu 2. Consequently Garmin Connect also tells me that I didn't do any intensive activity today (which is odd, as I worked my butt off during those 90 minutes).
Is there a way that I can replace the Venu 2 heart rate recorded during the ride, with that of the Polar? The data must be already in Garmin somewhere, as I imported the FIT-file into Garmin and that contains the correct heart rate data?
Thanks for your suggestions.
