Why can't we get komoot on the Venu 2? When we see the price of this watch.. It's unbelievable..
Or is there any trick to get a turn by turn?
Disclosure: I am the author of dwMap.
dwMap does its upcoming-turn and off-route notification calculations on-device, but the route itself is planned on-server and downloaded prior to the activity start…
I would also appreciate to see support for KOMOOT.
VENU 2 is supposed to have a processor from the ARM Cortex-M4 family.

Komoot app is now supported on Venu :) You can download the Tours offline, you can see a mini-map with navigation instructions and upcoming elevation profile: https://newsroom.komoot.com/217964-komoot…

Just checked it out on the "Outdoor Master" portion of the r.485 suite, and yes, you can export a .GPX file from Komoot, and load it into the Outdoor master app, then forward it up to the watch. A couple steps extra, but "it can be done". :D Hope this helps.
I have been using DwMap for getting the map and turn by turn direction on my Vivoactive3 and now my Venu 2.
dwmap can import route from many platform (via web, from the route URL!) and send it to the watch automatically.
I use OutdoorActive to plan my route and download them automatically via the excellent dwMap Chrome extension, with a single click on an icon!)
You then get the map onto your watch as a datafield. During your activity, the map is downloaded via your phone and shown on your watch (you can zoom in and out). You can see your route, direction elevation profile, turn by turn with alert, off route etc etc... many customisation etc, worth a look.
The maps on the High Res screen of the Venue 2 look great!
