First Impressions

I’ve had Garmins for years and still have a Fenix 5X which I use on long trail hikes for navigation and a Vivoactive 4. They’ve all been good. 6 months ago I thought I’d try an Apple Watch 6 to see what all the hype is about - I’ve put up with it until the ridiculously poor battery life just did my head in and the heart rate monitor was just too unreliable (as reported by many owners). Apples answer - “unfortunately it doesn’t work on everybody”. Every Garmin I’ve had has just worked. The Apple Health App I find is just a muddle with so much pointless information. I finally had enough and sold the AW, thankfully for a really good price. I recently bought my wife a Venu 2S. She’s over the moon with it and I have been so impressed, I’ve now bought one too. I decided to go with the smaller 2S for a change. Very easy to set up, the battery life just makes the AW look hopeless. I think it looks better (prefer round watches), love the display, feels more comfortable and just so simple to use. I can’t ever see me dabbling in other brands again.
