Feature Request for Golfers - Full Vector Map

I think the Venu 2 is a great jack of all trades, but the best feature is the brilliant screen / display.  To attract more golfers, I would suggest adding the Full Vector Map to take full advantage of that display.  Eye candy!  I would also look at the Touch Targeting and maybe the Auto CourseView Updates as the Venu 2 would be an excellent platform for those.

The high end golf specific model Approach S62 has numerous features targeting the better players.  The advanced players use things like Virtual Caddie, Plays Like Distance, Handicap, Swing Tempo, Tempo Training, TruSwing, and all the Courses being preloaded.  That distinguishes the S62 to that top end tier of players.

IMO this would help attract more people to the Venu 2 who are fitness oriented and also golfers to buy one!

  • completely agree. Venu line could have been a gamechanger in the golf market/masses BUT since it does not include seeing each hole on your wrist, it is a big downside.

features on Venu look great, but without this major golf feature, I can't see anyone getting it for that price. S62 has the golf feature, but missing all of the smart features like a good screen, battery life, health tracking/smart features. It's not worth the trouble to carry two watches. Ironically, Im going with Arcos. I hated the idea of a subscription service but since there arn't any watches with full golf + full smart health features at $400-$500 price point, Arcos looks to be the better value over 2-5 years. If the newer Venu 2 plus had included vector maps, i'd have bought that with full ct10s. And become a Garmin user for life...

  • Oh man ... I love the venu 2 plus , but unlike my Garmin Fenix 6 which shows the full map, the venu 2 does not - So disappointing!!!

I love the venu 2 plus. Beautiful touch OLED screen, built in speaker and mic for phone calls, lighter and thinner, it's my all time favourite watch.

I can't believe it doesn't have the full map. Hazard feature is not that great, full map would really make the difference.
