Problem with touch screen

I have just received my new Venu 2 and am very satisfied. Unfortunately, it seems that the screen does not work properly. When I scroll, the svreen often reacts as if I had clicked. When I click, sometimes nothing happens. And the strangest thing is that quite often it happens that the screen seems to perceive it as if I touch the screen without I'm doing so. The fact that the screen thinks I am touching it sometimes means that an app is started or closed without me touching the screen. Is this something that has been known before or is it something wrong with my device?

  • I can confirm on my watch presses are often not recognized too. Esp own smaller icon stuff like control menu. Often I have to press two or three times till the touch is registered. Feels like Touchscreen is not sensible enough or something. And the trier your hand and fingers the less it registers touches as those. Very annoying.

Garmin please fix those touchscreen issues. On the V2s it is hard enough to find the right spot to tap on because the screen resolution is so high and icons so tiny, but when it doesn't even reacts to touches it is even more annoying.

  • I got my Garmin Venu 2 yesterday and I have this problem too. Any solution?

  • Hello all!  You can try restoring the watch to factory default settings.  Make sure that you sync the watch with Garmin Express first.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, I'd recommend reaching out to your local Garmin Support team.  If you tag me with your location, I 'd be happy to share the contact info you'll need.

  • What's the best way to reset if the touch screen doesn't work?
