Everyone, including me, is always complaining in forums. Maybe we should also say what Garmin got right.
To me, only at first comparisons with walks in and around a smaller city, small lakes, a big river, I can say, AMAZING.
Compared to my older Fenix 6 a few months ago and my latest Vivoactive 4s, it is a big difference even in something simple as walking through and around the city.
1. GPX fix is amazing fast and correct. After a few seconds, sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes 10 seconds, it has a fix and also is correct. I sometimes thought that maybe it has an error because it finds GPS amazingly fast compared to all other watches I ever owned, including many Garmin FR and Fenix and VA, and Apple Watches. And also Polar etc. You press the activity and it is almost instantly there. With or without clouds. Starting around some 20something high skyscrapers which doesn't make it easier to find a fix.
2. Comparing to my latest Garmin's, Fenix 6 and VA4s, it is always correct. It shows me right at the side of the roads, even the right sides, crossing them etc. Not walking on the street, not walking in gardens or through houses. That was a problem with the Fenix 6 and VA4. It always showed correctly on 3.24. On 3.22 It did have a few hits, but only very few, showing correctly most of the time too. Amazing compared to my VA4s.
Only did comparisons atm by walking, not biking or hiking yet. Running I don't do at all. But till now I am very impressed. Very. FW is 3.24.
