Somewhat disappointed by the lack of options for watch bands to the Garmin 745, I went for the Venu2 were you can use "regular" watch bands.
Quickrelease makes it easy to switch between the provided silicon band (for running) and this:
Its a custom made 18mm leather watch band for the Venu 2s
