Hi,
I bought a brand new Venu 2s and although in general I am happy with the watch (it is my first from Garmin), I noticed some strange behavior that I would like to point out, maybe I have configured stuff wrong or simply am not the first to notice...
- When getting "simple" messages through WhatsApp, everything is fine, I see the contact name and message (except photos, but that is ok, it just says photo). However, when people are replying to some message I sent, I just get the message and have no clue who sent it and to what chat actually... Has anybody else noticed this issue? I repeat, for "normal" messages, everything is fine, I see the contact name, the Connect app has access to my contacts...
- The watch does not autostart tracking any activity, only walk and run, for example I do a lot of strength and HIIT training, would be nice to have some sort of tracking (Fitbit for example did have one, it just showed that I was active and some stats). This way I don't lose data if I forget to start the activity explicitly...
- The back gesture (swipe right from left) is not working on every screen and every scenario, is a bit confusing, sometimes it works, sometimes I have to push the button on the bottom to go back...
- I am using the SHN TxD watch face, however scrolling through the shop I did not find many appealing ones and the default ones are not that great... I liked how the hour+minute combo shows up on the default face, but I would like to make it a bit more customizable, for example date format, and to show 1 or 2 extra data (steps, HR for example...) so I don't have to get into the overview by swiping down or up...
