Venu 2 45mm watch band size

I just received my Venu 2 45 mm watch. In preparation for it I purchased a few 22 mm watch bands, but when I went to install them they were too narrow to clip on securely and kept coming off. What is the watch band size for the larger Venu 2? I'm guessing it isn't 22mm like the website says it is, or that maybe for the Venu 2 S.

Is it a 3rd party strap? 22mm Quick Release bands from Garmin fit the Venu 2 perfectly. I got this one:

This is so Garmin. Their watches are all about .5mm wider than their listed dimensions, so pretty much all third party bands that use quick release pins will fit like this.

Yes, they are 3rd party. Mesh metal bands. If anyone has purchased any metal mesh bwnds that fit correctly please do share.

I had the same problem with a Barton strap. It doesn't stay on the watch. I have a leather band from another watch (non-smartwatch) that's staying on my Venu2, but it's not a quick release band.

I’ve bought quite a few and most of them just pop off. Archer ones seem to be the best so far but they aren’t a perfect fit for it.

if possible, use the pins in the original band, as they will be long enough. Even the quick-release pins can be removed with very little effort.

Agree. Third party 22mm bands pins are about 2mm short. This sucks!
