Does the autosave function also drive other users crazy?

Can you tap the top button to pause it (as if you're going to stop the activity), then the bottom button to resume later? I don't use that function much but I thought I remembered it working that way.

It'll pause for (15 min, I think?) then automatically stop and save your activity.  This is a Vivoactive thing in general.   You can go here to submit the idea:  www.garmin.com/.../

I hate it too. And I don't understand why only Fenix and Forerunners have "Continued later" function. 

That function is necessary with every watch containing Hiking, Biking etc. Almost no one hikes without a pause/break.

Have you downloaded it from the app store?  It's a Connect IQ app.

It drives me crazy. But I'm also shocked there's no built in Pause Resume support. I think this is just dumb. I bought the watch thinking it would have it.

BTW I tried installing hike 2 app but it returned a URL scheme error.

Garmin It really is a disaster. The function later has any cheap forerunner.
