How to go back from widget

When e.g entering body battery „widget“ and try to go back to menu level afterwards , I expect just to swipe left to right. But now, when swiping back, I basically scroll back in time until 00:00. only when I scrolled back to 00:00, further swipe act as „back“ to main menu. That pretty annoying specially later they day (way back to 00:00 is pretty long)

is there any easy way to do a „back to menu“ (except using hard key)

thanks

  • Yes, that's a bit strange. Best way I've found so far is to tap the bottom button to go back.

I am also afraid there is no other way. But this is annoying as you have to change position of hand for this

maybe UI SW could distinguish between swipe in upper and lower part of screen. Upper part swipe could be “back”, lower part of screen could be scroll back in time. Just as a feature request / proposalWink

  • That is what i tried multiple times. I was thinking 'there must be a way to go back faster'.
    Guess not Slight smile

It would be a big improvement to have an quick option to go back without the need to push the button.
Like you say, swiping in the top part...

  • As long as you don’t tap on “last 8 hours” screen you can scroll left to right backwards to get back to main screen.

Yes, but if it is later the day, you have to swipe several times to reach  midnight and the main screen. Or have I missed your trick?

  • Well at least on my Venu SQ, there are two screens.  The first one shows body battery and at the bottom it says “last 8 hours”, if I tap on that screen it takes me to the screen “with stress” and at the bottom it says “since midnight” where you have to keep scrolling back to midnight and press the B button to get back.  I usually don’t care about the “with stress” screen, just want to see the body battery graph.

    Alright , now I got you :-).
Seem to me, that Venu Sq and Venu 2 behave different here. On my Venu 2 I also have the 2 screens you describe, but both start at midnight. None of them has the “8 hours axis” and hence no way for an easy “ escape”

  • I agree it's a inconsistent behaviour.

Swiping from the left is a system wide gesture, it's a bit annoying to have exceptions and forced to use the hardware button.
