Venu 2 frozen

I just bought the Venu 2 and tried to connect it to Garmin Connect via my iPhone and it’s hanging on a screen showing an icon of a watch next to an icon of the Garmin app with the dot running between them like it’s trying to connect to the app. But my app can’t find it. Have tried many times, tried connecting to laptop with Garmin Express but it doesn’t see it. Tried pressing and holding buttons - it powers off and back on to the same screen. It’s been like that for hours now. 
Any ideas? Thanks 

  • Hello! Can you hold the power button for 45 seconds letting the screen go black. Then turn it back on and plug the device into the computer and see it it will sync with Express. Then unplug, reboot the phone and be sure the Venu 2 is in pair mode first and then add the device in the Garmin Connect App
