Venu 2 smart workout suggestions- all inclusive

Is garmin going to offer a smart all inclusive workout suggestion feature like polar's fitspark or coros heatmap summaries?

It would be nice to get the daily suggestions (currently daily suggestions only works for a select few activities) to be expanded to include what the user wants or needs to become better. I.e. runners normally spend underwhelming time training core and glutes and spend way to much time just running. It would be nice to integrate in things like a strength day, swimming day..etc or add strength into each day.

Or a version like freeletics where they let you define what you want to work and what your goals are. If garmin doesn't do this, can they expand the 3rd party integration to include apps that do do this? Like freeletics, spartanfit or openfit

  • Freeletics has no interest on being represented in Garmin watches. I submitted that to them in 2014 and they just don’t care. If you have a specific company with its own algorithm like Freeletics wich you want you will have to put pressure on them.
I think it’s Hard to give a workout suggestion in weight training because the watches not only tell you what to do, but also how hard (based on FTP, LTHR and VO2Max I think). That’s something wich is not available for weight training. But Garlin has a lot of trainings in that realm in Connect.
