It's one of the small things that really annoy me with the regular Venu. If it's fixed I'll order it right away.

As i understand the text right, it is the same. There seems to be a delay. I hated it in my venu (now i have the Fenix 6 but a venu or Amoled would be nice but if it is slow as hell, then i don´t want it)
On all my tested watchfaces the delay between screen off and screen on was about 1-2 seconds it was to long for me. Internal watchfaces where much faster.
Can you check my apps? I have fenix 6 so fully tested in it.
I returned my venu (now Fenix 6 Pro), so some one other have to check it. I did some own Watchfaces and had the same behavior. I think it is a energy saving function and the watchface goes more to sleep as i want it ;)
I replaced my Vivoactive 4 with a Venu 2 - got it yesterday. Yes, there is a delay in having the backlight come on / going from black screen to watch face (AOD off) or "reduced" screen to full screen (AOD on). It is indeed annoying. I have not been following the Venu forum closely - is this something that is reported as a bug?
Yeah, it's even noticeable compared to the Vivo 4. You can't see that screen in the dark without the backlight and I never had an instance where I moved the watch in the dark and did not instantly get the screen. I do have sensitivity to high on both watches but it needs to be higher on the Venu2.
