I have contacted support multiple times about this and nobody has been helpful at all.
I obtained a Venu 2 Plus watch that is running version 55.04 and this is not anywhere close to the public release 19.05.
I can sync the device to my account,but Connect IQ doesn't sync.
I can sync the device using Garmin Express, but the software version does not change to 19.05 and Connect IQ apps also don't install or sync.
At this point, I have reset the watch multiple times, contacted support multiple times, and have resorted to social media for support.
I can access the watch filesystem and I obtained a GUPDATE.GCD file from the Internet, but it's likely not supported as copying it to /GARMIN on the watch doesn't do anything - in fact, when reconnecting the watch to my computer again, the copied GUPDATE.GCD disappears.
I'm at my wit's end. This would be simple if I can just restore the watch back to a known software/firmware version.
PLEASE HELP.
