Venue 2+ bluetooth pairing all the time

For the past month, my Venu 2 + has been asking me every day to re-pair to the Google Pixel 6A phone. It's very annoying. Both phone and watch are up to date with their software. I deleted and resinstalled the connect app yesterday and reinstalled. No luck. Still asking to re-pair. Connect has pretty much all permissions now and stil not working. Used to work fine for a year. Now it's an issue.

Looked online and no solutions. 

  • I am having similar issues with mine. I did all the steps from support. I have the issue with pairing both with Huawei P30 phone used initially and where was paired before and also with iPhone 14 PRO MAX. All updates on watch, phone, apps, up to date.

  • I'm having the same issue - I must re-pair my phone to the watch almost everyday.  Very very annoying.  For the first year I owned the watch I didn't have this issue.  I'm using a PIxel 7 Pro with Android 14.   Android 14 could be the issue because I don't recall same issue on Android version 13.  But since this issue is apparently is also a problem for iPhone owners, this indicates the problem may be with Garmin software.   Garmin, please look into this and fix the problem ASAP.    I'm tired of frequently having to re-pair my watch to my phone.

  • Having issues also on pixel 8 pro and Venu 2 plus

  • If you are using Extend Unlock on the phone? Try turning it off. I was having no end of re-pair issues and they went away after turning off the feature. This really irritates me as Extend Unlock made life much easier when skiing or riding. The worst part is that I have no idea if this is what fixed it and I'm afraid to test it.

  • Thanks for the tip, but I don't have extend unlock on at all.  I didn't even know it was an option LOL.  Thanks for the tip on a new to me feature on the phone

  • it seems this is addressed in the latest beta software for the Venu 3, but no indication that it will be fixed on the 2+.
