Received this expensive watch as a gift and I'm disappointed at the fact that the voice assistant does not connect. I followed all of instructions, I looked up YouTube videos, change settings, reached out to the service desk.
I was told today that basically I have to contact the people who manufacture the Google pixel phones in China (OnePlus) to get it fixed. Garmin is not going to help me. A $500 watch but I've had for 2 weeks that doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do and customer service is saying that I have to manage this on my own and reach out to a random Chinese company as it's not a Garmin problem. But it is a Garmin problem because when I researched this watch it said it could connect to the voice assistant and I could answer texts.
Anyone else experiencing the same connectivity issues? I can take a call. I cannot initiate the voice assistant or reply back to text messages unless it's the standard canned responses... For $500 I expect a fully functioning device.
