Voice Assistant Volume 2023

I Got myself a my first Garmin watch - Venu 2 Plus. After the initial setup procedure,  I tried out Voice Assistant which is connected to Google Assistant on my Samsung S21+. The experience was very poor. I could barely hear anything. It functions but the volume is so low that I had to practically place the watch on my ear to hear it. I tried maxing all the volume settings under System > Sound and it doesn't help. There was an update for the watch but even that did not fix this issue.

This issue is specifically for Voice Assistant volume only as other notification sounds, alarm etc are loud and clear. Poor first impression after coming from a Samsung Galaxy watch which I bought couple of years ago.

  • Perfect, that seems to have done the job!  I had set the volume to max on the watch before, but your suggestion seems to be the only thing that works.

    Still frustrated since Garmin did not bother to help for 2 months. Especially for the price we pay for these watches. 

  • Thanks - to add to this (with my phone) - I had to turn the phone volume up while google assistant spoke, WHILE the phone was FULLY unlocked.  If I did this while the phone was not unlocked (but displayed the results) it appeared to turn the volume up, but did not actually do anything.
