Thanks, but this doesn't really give any details.  I'd really like to know what the "improvement" are.  SInce not listed, I'm guessing we're not getting things like nap function, morning report, or recovery time among others.

Too bad with cheaper solutions like Novelty

Probably some code modifications and cleaning. Nothing that will be visible for the end user, except maybe some bugs fixed or some tweaking in the performance

Very frustrating. A "lower" level device should not receive features not available in higher level device. Not good customer relations. 

Sometimes Garmin puts new features on the newest hardware. Then possibly will push it to older watches.
