Garmin Pay during activity?

Question

With Epix Pro you can pause activity, use Garmin Pay and then resume activity. 
 
 How can you accomplish this with Venu 2 Plus? I cant use Garmin Pay during activity.

I have Garmin pay mapped to middle button, no problem with paying during activity

Yes I can confirm it works during activity, I also have it mapped to middle button. Or alternatively place the pay app within the controls menu so when you hold the top button you can select the pay app. This works during an activity also.
