Detection of sleeps during the day

Is there an update planned to make the garmin venu 2 plus class watch detect sleep naps during the day?

I often work nights and it's annoying that the watch can't detect naps.

the FR 955 just got a bunch of new updates, like nap glance, the large font mode, images in notifications, etc that the venu 3 introduced, so hopefully the 2 plus will get them as well

It's possible, but Garmin doesn't communicate what updates are coming until the day they're implemented. Nap detection is currently only available on the Venu 3 and vivoactive 5. You can certainly request it for the Venu 2 Plus by submitting a request using the Share Ideas web site.

Now that the Venu 2 Plus has been "superseded" by the Venu 3, they're unlikely to retrofit new features like nap detection to "older" devices.

I'll also add, my watch detects my sleep even if it's outside of my set "sleep time" i'm not sure why it doesn't do this for others, but does for me?
