Venu 2 plus software update issue

Since my Venu 2 plus needed a software update (not the 16.11 update) it keeps installing it over and over again. Also my Sensors don't work anymore since that moment. I tried to put the watch back to factory mode but that doesn't help. Garmin said in a phone call that maybe i could delete the activities in the activity folder but i don't have any because i put it back to factory mode.

Does someone have the same issue or knows the solution?

Hi, the forum is full of complaints across all of the Garmin Venu series watches. I have exactly the same issues. Software keeps reloading and the HRM is on all the time completely draining the battery, even if its disabled. Well done Garmin , you have turned my Venu2 plus into an Apple watch needing recharging every day. The sole reason I chose Garmin was not because of your wonderful product and fantastic apps(which Apple has) but because of the decent battery life on a smartwatch. Kind of defeating the object. Garmin you have to do better. Please sort this out soonest.
