Venu 2 plus and Rowing Machine

I got myself a water rower, is it possible to have my strokes, power, time etc picked up by my Venu 2 plus?

Garmin have an article here...

It lists the watches compatible with connecting to a rower, it doesn't list the Venue series.

The Venu does have an Indoor Rowing activity which should count your rows etc...
