Poor Warranty

Less than 2 months ago I purchased a Venu 2+. I was not aware that a v3 would come out soon, but I would have waited 2 months and then buy the Venu3. I asked customer support if they'd take back my V2 and replace with a V3 against payment of the difference.

It was flat out rejected.

Garmin, that was not very client friendly of you!

  • With advancing technology, it's often a guessing game. In addition to that Garmin never announces a new release until the day it's available. You'd have to rely on sites that specialize in rumors. Easy to search and find those, but Garmin frowns on posting those to the Garmin forums.

    Seems to be a release cycle of once a year, usually around September.

    • Venu: September 2019
    • Venu Sq: September 2020
    • Venu 2: April 2021
    • Venu 2 Plus: January 2022
    • Venu Sq 2: September 2022
    • Venu 3: August 2023
    • Venu 4: September 2024?

    For what it's worth, there's not a huge difference between the Venu 2 Plus and the Venu 3.
