Texting from watch

Since apparently the venue 3 series allows text reply through the watch, is there any word on whether there will be a software upgrade to allow the venue to plus to text without having to use canned responses?

Not speaking about voice to text through assistant as very often this is not feasible based on setting/, surroundings

I downloaded the Venu 3 owner's manual and see no evidence that there is any way to reply through the watch beyond using the assistant,

If that's the case, I misunderstood product page description when it mentions replying to messages through the watch.

Ether way, a feature they should offer

Yes I agree it would be better. Maybe the only thing I miss from my Samsung Active 2,
