I noticed this about 4 days ago, while starting a run - about .5 miles in, my average pace was displaying something that looked accurate, however my actual pace was showing 0. As I continued to run, it caught up. However, throughout my run it would periodically jump to a high 10 minute actual pace and slowly speed up to what I was currently running which was high 8's. I assumed it was poor satellite connection and told myself I would check it out next run.
The same thing has happened over the course of the next 4 runs. Today, I was half way through, I did not pause nor slow down as I was running on a flat road. I was averaging 8:40 pace and looked at my watch to check actual pace because I felt I was speeding up and a bit breathless. When I looked, it show 10:50 for my actual pace. Then I watched it over the course of the next mile and it would fluctuate between high 10's and high 9's all while I was actively speeding up to test it. I was roughly at mile 6 of a 10 mile run. It was very humid and I had waited about 30 seconds after the satellites were found to start my run as I have been hyper aware of this issue happening.
I can't tell if it is impacting my average pace or not. I have seen it fluctuate and go up during this time and not.
My watch just updated to the brand new software update, 14.1 today and I am curious if this will fix it, but wanted to see if others have noticed this?
