I see that my Honor 20 View is on a list of incompatible phones and the calling/sms/notifications/voice assistant may not work properly or not at all. It does not seem to be an issue for me since I do not care about these features, I only want Garmin Venu 2 Plus since it is bigger than Venu 2S and I like it more and found it cheaper than Venu 2S.
However, I would like to know if this incompatibility will also impact :
1. Listening to music using Spotify? (I guess not)
2. The Weather widget (does it take the info from the phone or it will work just fine without it, or maybe it will still work with the use of my phone even though it is on the incompatible phones list?)
3. Live track? As they say for this to work the watch must be connected to the Garmin Connect app on the phone.
4. The use of the Garmin Connect app? Will it not be possible to connect the watch to the mobile app? If so, can I use the web Garmin Connect app instead without any limitations? I already installed the app, it works and i enabled running in the background, but I do not know how it will work once I get the watch.
So, in short, does this incompatibility really impact only the calling/sms/notifications/voice assistant?
Does anyone use their Garmin watch with a phone that is on the list of the incompatible phones?
