Battery drain

Venu 2 plus watch  battery is now draining fast.

(Ive only had it 2 months) 

Charged my watch Sunday and by mid-day Monday  it was down to 50%.

Previously I could charge ut about every 5 days.  After going into the connect app I found the ECG was added so Im wondering if my phone had a recent update that's now causing the drain. 

Ive powered it off and back on. Ive not done any activities since Sunday and pulse ox is set to on demand.  

I charged it again last night and am down to 60% in less than 24 hrs.

Any suggestions?

    Same issue here, started over a week ago and getting worse. Drained nearly 50% within 24 hours with no exercise during that time, just couple of hours on the wrist - that's it. Funny enough my gf has exactly same model, just got it a year ago vs myself about 3 months ago - for her, watch is fine, easy 4 days on one charge which is about right. We both have latest stable firmware 15.20. I was trying to find older version somewhere and test it for couple of days but no luck, seems like it's hidden from us.

     I am seeing massive battery drain issues ever since I updated to Venu 2 Plus firmware version 15.2.

    Garmin - Is there a fix on the way?

    Me too, after the last update, the battery lasts for 4 days, I didn't change anything in applications or dials, and before the update, it lasted for 7-8 days when I didn't use GPS. Is there any method to restore the previous firmware?

    It sure would be nice to see Garmin Tech Support actually respond to this thread and acknowledge that they are aware of this issue and are pursuing a solution.

    To me, due to the lack of response, it seems like Garmin doesn't care about customer support on issues like these.
