Can anybody tell me what the numbers “116” mean beside the mountain icon. One source said it’s the elevation where I’m located and another said it’s total elevation gained or lost. Also, where can the data be found either on the watch or phone app?

Today it’s shows a negative elevation. Our house is located at an elevation 
of just over 100’.
