Continuously says wrong password when trying to connect to my wifi network. I have MAC address filter on and I believe I have the correct MAC. I turn off MAC address filter and it will connect ok. Any help? Thanks

While trying to connect to my wifi I continuously get wrong password and it will not connect. I can turn off my MAC address filter and it will connect. As soon as I turn my MAC address filter back on it returns with wrong password. The first time I connected I turned my MAC filter off because I cant see a MAC address printed anywhere. This is how I find the MAC. I copied that and added it to my list of devices allowed to connect. Any ideas? I dont want to leave my network open.

I found my problem. It had to do with the MAC address. i had an 8 in one spot but supposed to be B. They look almost identical in my router. Problem fixed

Maybe in addition to your solution: To connect to my WiFi (Router plus 2 repeaters (2.4 + 5 GHz network with the same SSID), I have to be near my router to be able to connect.
