Battery drain with 10.22 update

My Venu 2 Plus is experiencing battery drain at a very high rate since it updated to 10.22 firmware.  I used to get 7-8 days of battery life and now I'm getting 3 days or less.  In the last 24 hours, it has dropped from 75% to 33%!  I haven't changed anything other than updating the f/w.  I have tried restarting the watch, but that hasn't helped.  Is it possible that GPS turned itself on?  I've never used GPS tracking ever and I don't even know how to turn GPS on/off.

    habe mal unter Einstellungen / Aktivitäten und apps / laufen /Einstellungen / GPS:  nur GPS angewählt. (Es war "GPS+GLONASS" eingestellt)

    Mal schauen ob das was bringt

    Meine Uhr ist Anfang Juni 2022 gekauft und nun hab ich fast alles was Batterielastig ist abgestellt, kein Bluetooth, Töne und Vibration ist aus, Helligkeit runtergestellt, nur eine kurze Displaydauer...

    Und trotzdem keine 2,5 Tage Akkudauer. So ein Teil kann ich ja nicht mal ruhigen Gewissens verkaufen. Wäre ich doch bei meinem Forerunner  geblieben.

    @Garmin Support: Since the last SW Updates 10.18 and 10.22 my battery also changed from 7-8 Days to less then 24 hours!!!! That is just super annoying and very disappointing!!! If we have to switch nearly every feature off, I can also change to a common watch.
    Look into this topic and propose an update to change it back again!
    My husband has the same smartwatch and he has not that issue. So, you really have a problem there!

    It's been a little while since my Venu 2 Plus was replaced, and I have to say that I'm astounded by the difference in battery life.  My previous one was going 7-8 days on a charge, which was great--until the 10.22 update.  This new one, even after the 10.22 update, has around double the battery life that my previous one ever had before.  I got it with 83% battery and so I never bothered to charge it before using it.  EIGHT DAYS LATER, it finally dipped below 20%, but I didn't charge it until a couple days later when it got closer to 10% remaining.  It's been 7 days exactly, to the hour, since that first and only charge and I have 58% battery remaining.  Amazing! Thank you, Garmin!
