Venu 2 Plus Cellular

i currently own an Apple Watch 4 cellular, however, after doing my first half marathon yesterday, I discovered the battery life is truly awful!

I’m considering switching to a Garmin, however, I can’t find any info if any of them are cellular (can make and receive call without having my phone nearby via AirPods. It was this model I was interested in buying, however, I’ve found it’s not cellular (didn’t know where else to put my question as no suitable option).

does anyone know if any of the Garmin watches are cellular. I own an iPhone 12 Pro.

I’d appreciate any info.

Garmin has no cellular watches

The FR 945 has LTE.

But (unfortunately) you can't make calls with the LTE. It has very specific and limited usage.

Garmin does not have a watch which can do what you want. In all honesty you should consider the Apple Watch Ultra and pay for the LTE plan which is about $10 per month on most US carriers.

Sit down and really think about how often you MUST have texts and calls on your wrist that it's worth sacrificing health features for. Apple sucks as doing their version of showing health data. That's why I switched, I don't feel healthy with seeing 3 rings.

So, I took the plunge a couple of weeks ago and purchased the Forerunner 945. I have to say, I already love it and absolutely agree with everything you’ve said. All of features I was worried about missing I really don’t and I’m also enjoying being disconnected, especially when I’m out running. Having to download music, podcasts when using Spotify was a bit fiddly at first, but now I’ve got to grips with it, it works absolutely fine. Also, the battery life compared to the AW is incredible too, I had no idea the battery life on the AW was so embarrassingly poor!
