battery drain after 10.18 update

My venu 2 plus worked great for 4 months, previous updatesdid not cause any issues.

Now it started to drainthe battery super fast since sunday. I did not make any changes to settings or installed any apps. From 7 days battery life it went to not even 2 days and I have not even done any activity. Dropped 70 percent over night.

I see there were these issues before, support could help, they asked for logs and told me to wait.

Are you working on this bug please?

didnt have problems for a while but back to 2 days max now sigh...

Let’s start by power cycling (turning off and then back on) your watch. If the battery drain persists and if you have any Connect IQ (CIQ) Content, especially watch faces, you may need to delete that content as we have found that removing this content can resolve this issue. You can use any of the 3 FAQs below to uninstall the CIQ content.

***If you have uninstalled ALL Connect IQ content from your watch and you are still experiencing a rapid battery drain, please leave your watch free of ALL Connect IQ content (Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer are fine to leave installed) and reply to the following questions:

May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?
In what country do you live?

I dont want to remove my content. Please, find a permanent fix.

It was ok for a few days, now it is back. I already spoke to your support via chat and answered these questions.

yea sure, that is what they said 3 weeks ago, you did not even look at it since then, otherwise you would not ask the same things.

Exactly the same issue with my Venu2 Plus. I've already tried everything described in the related posts. Reset the watch, delete all apps from ConnectIQ, remove from Bluetooth and still drains to 50% in about 7-8 hours. It was not a cheap purchase for me... So frustrating...

Same issue here, Garmin replaced mine with a refurbished one, updated the software, and drained 20% in a couple of hours!

My watch face was a basic one I created but had a light following the hand round in a circle, I turned that off, the watch has also updated to 10.22 today and the battery life seems much better, only used 6% in about 9/10 hours, not sure which of these fixed it, but hopefully it has now!
