Venu 2 Plus Software Update - Version 10.18 unable to install

I have experienced some issues completing the software update from v9.17 to v10.18. I have downloaded the software update via wi-fi directly from my watch. I was then prompted to install this update which i agreed to. The watch then restarted and attempted to perform the installation. I did not see the blue bar getting filled. Once the watch restarted I was informed the software had been updated to v9.17. I have then gone to settings and checked if software updates were available and there was a notification that v10.18 was available and was prompted again to install it. The same issue occurred and the got the same message that the software had been updated to v9.17 and not v10.18.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and is there a way to fix this and actually get the software updated?
