Venu 2 Plus Barometer accuracy ??

I normally use Garmin Edge 830 or 1030 and since I've bought Venu 2 plus I sometimes try to detect activity together with Edges.. Altimeter is totally non reliable compared to Edge.. Also during normal lifetime I reset with GPS the barometer at the sea level (when I was in the sea) and once returned home (altitude 288m) the value was totally wrong... I try to re-calibrate at home every day but when I move to other places (i.e. job) the quote value is always wrong.. Do it works in this useless way or there is a specific problem on my device?

Same thing for the Heart Rate monitor.. Totally non reliable if compared to edge+HR sensor

I think that, if this is the way to work, it is a Toy for kids not a sportwatch

Yes, I usually get this error to but it work after some time, or after more re-calibrations gps barometer

When you start hike it show the good value not always, you have to now what is the altitude where you are, like the mountains or something that you now very well...also the phone can be more accurate then the watch...

Impossible to manage this .. I calibrated the barometer 10 times in the last week .. in the sea level and at home.. always wrong values when you move.. This is not a Sportwatch..

Barometric altimeter is like that in daily life. It's basically functional when you calibrate before the activity. It'll drift with the wather pressure changes during the day.

the calibration is not good the software needs to be fixed

It should get second level accurate data from the closest weather station and do the calculations depending on that. If station barometer doesn't change, it should add the change to elevation. If station data changes, it should change the pressure. :)
