Hi, my watch is less than a week old and the gesture feature has stopped working . Kindly advise as I have triple checked all my settings and it seems all is in order
If you long hold your upper right button to access your circle of widgets, can you make sure the half moon (Do Not Disturb) is not enabled?
Please also check your sleep window. If your preference is to not be alerted during your sleep window, you will not be able to use the gesture during that time (I have seen someone accidentally set their window from 9AM to 11 PM).
You might also try a different watch face it you're using a third-party one from the store. I had one watch face that seemed to inhibit the gesture wake up.
Thank you so much everyone . I’ve checked all the suggestions . I will also consider if it is a 3rd party watch face . It’s happened more than once now , and always after I’ve recharged it , I have to switch off the watch and switch it back on again for the gestures to work . Thank you for the suggestion of the 3rd party watch face though , that could be it .
Thanks for this. When I turned on my watch, initial setup had auto configured my do not disturb time from 0900 to 0500. I glanced at that and decided yeah close enough. After wrist to wake wouldn't work, following your advice in this post, I looked at the do not disturb settings again and it had autoconfigured 0900 AM to 0500 AM. So for 20 hours out of the day wrist to wake wouldn't work!
